Falatados

is a productive village with many livestock breeders located at the northern side of Hora, 12 km from Tinos Town. It is a very old village that dates back to 1400s, built amphitheatrically opposite the village of Kechrovouni.

The Folklore Museum is really worth seeing. During September various festivals are organized in Falatados to celebrate the raki-making season. The most beautiful spots of the village count on the magnificent Cycladic Megalohari (Great Joy) Square and the beautiful marble church of Agios Ioannis that stands at the top of the hill. At the northern side of the village lie numerous impressive volcanic rocks.
